Our mission is to build strong communities and empower youth, through promotion and celebration of cricket in the USA. We help young, emerging cricket players continue to cultivate their skills and passion for cricket by providing coaching, development, and financial support. We are supporting grassroots cricket by working with youth leagues and schools, spreading awareness of cricket among youth in the U.S. for boys and girls. We have four key areas:
Focus on player upskilling and access to resources
Promote cricket in local communities, schools, and universities
Reward and recognize excellence in players, officials, volunteers
Bring together the US cricket community as a neutral and non-political forum
Through the Foundation we offer a variety of opportunities for young players and communities to increase their access to cricket:
For all USA-based youth ages 12-19 who have demonstrated early cricketing talent. The Foundation will provide high-level coaching opportunities and equipment donations.
For USA-based players, returning USA-eligible players, and international students who want to attend college in the U.S., while pursuing their dreams of playing cricket. The Foundation will provide some monetary support for things such as tuition or room and board and provide opportunities for them to continue cricket development.
The Foundation will encourage broader youth participation through after school programs, open community days, equipment donations, and distribution of promotional booklets. The Foundation will also work to build more youth cricket pitches in the U.S.
The Foundation will award outstanding volunteers and officials for their dedication to cricket and upholding the pillars of the foundation.
Interested cricketers, communities, schools, and volunteers can nominate themselves and others for these awards. More details and nomination forms will be released by Summer 2021.
